30 years :]
really thank and praise God for keeping my parents together all these years. my parents may not be perfect parents, but they've set an excellent example for me to follow by staying faithful and loving to each other for so many years. because God has kept them together, i have a complete family and yup, i realise how blessed i've been. time to remind myself not to take it for granted. m encouraged by how they've stayed faithful and committed to each other for the past many years and i pray that they will continue to do so for many years to come. i pray that they will not only grow to love each other more each day, but grow deeper in love with the Lord too...true love's really IS a love triangle actually. with God as Lord of the relationship, the closer each one draws themselves to God, the closer they draw themselves to each other too :] i pray that my parents will always be entangled in this love triangle. heh heh :b
looking at how my papa has stayed faithful to my mommy all these years, despite being away from home most of the time, i must say God has been very gracious to my family. after so many years of being together, he still does things to make her happy/surprised. i love the way he springs surprises on her...by suddenly appearing at her workplace straight from the airport, or returning a day earlier etc...haha, my papa can be pretty romantic too eh :b
anyway...blessed 30th wedding anniversary to my dearest papa and mommy :D i pray too, that the Lord will always be the centre of their relationship and that they'll continue to walk together in the Lord...
